No SIM card
Okay, I have a new problem. I want to read the deleted sms on a Nokia e51, but the sms isn't saved to the SIM card. Is there a reader available that works off the phone memory? I cant use my sms provider to log sms on my computer, because they have to be manually forwarded, like for the SIM card, and he isn't going to do that!!!

Does the phone have a SIM card and will not forward? Or is it used on a CDMA network? I don't know much about this stuff, but I'll try to help out with what I know...I did a little research a found a product called the csi stick to recover data from phones. I have no idea if that product works though.
Possibly check the settings on the messages to see if they're auto deleted.

Hi cheatee, apparantly the new phone saves all the sms to the phone's memory and not the sim card. But I think I can set it to save the sms to the memory card... Now I just have to work out how to read it......
It only saves the sms to the sim card if you manually send each sms, and he aint gonna do that!! Unfortunatly, he discovered the SMSinterceptor on his other phone before I could use it properly, so that was about $1000 well spent!! 2 x SMSinterceptor for his 2 phones and a new phone cos nothing would work on his old phone! Ah well.

wow, $1000 down the drain. How did he find it on his phone? One of the great things about most of the spy phone software out there, is that its undetectable, so I'm curious how he found out. However, I do have to say that SMS Interceptor is one product I've never tested. Really need to get my hands on it.

Hi SPG, I put an answer in another thread about how he worked it out.. it was easier in the new phone because there were no other installations on it at the time.....D'oh!And so onto another train of thought... I'll try my best to get him!! Still trying to get info on reading the extra memeory card that can be used that is not the sim card.... I'll try to spend heaps on that too and let you know how I go!!

Hi, be sure to check out the new sim card readers on the market. they now can not only recover deleted sms messages on the sim card, but also the extra phone memory that you are talking about.
